Inspired Coffee, Inspired Atmosphere, Inspired Service. That is what Muse Coffee Co is focused on. This blog is about what inspires the owner of Muse Coffee Co. It also serves to enhance your experience at the store by giving you something to think on, interact with and just have fun with. It is, perhaps, self indulgent, but blogging is self indulgent.
I want this to reflect the fun and spontaneity of coming into the store and having a conversation with the staff, the person next to you in line, or the neighbor that you ran into at the shop.
I get a lot of questions about how I came up with the name ‘Muse’ for the shop.
There are many different places this came from:
1. The shop was named after my Muse Kelley who encouraged me to follow my dream and open the store and continues to support me and inspire me.
2. Coffee has been the ‘muse’ of creative people for hundreds of years. I thought this was a great way to honor cafe culture.
3. I wanted to provide a place for you to come and feel inspired to be creative and productive. I want you to come to Muse and connect with your friends and neighbors, maybe even create new friends.
I want to provide everyone with a place that they can feel comfortable and inspired. Muse baristas have over 25 years of combined experience in pulling espresso and we take our coffee serious, but we never take our selves too serious. My talented and skilled baristas will never be arrogant or serve your favorite drink with a side order of apathy or attitude like you sometimes find other places. (If someone is ever rude to you, I want to hear from you). We are not located on Queen Anne Ave so we have plenty of parking and frankly, we have the best coffee in town.
Everyday while working I see people from different business backgrounds collaborating on individual projects and working together to help each other achieve goals. I see people who live near each other connect and create community.
If you have an idea for this blog, just pass it along.

What a wonderful place! Love the atmosphere too…I hopefully will be moving down the street from you soon! It will be easier to feed my addiction to the Muse!
I am full time artist (contemporary landscape painter) and would love to show my work there! Check out my website when you have a moment…
Take care!

I am working on a new blog so, you might see alot of traffic on your site since I keep looking at this sight to see how you laid this out. Not sure how well I will do with content but, would love to hear how well you think this social networking/advertising does for you?

“Hello,

I realize that you are home decor-Modern design connoisseur
I’d like to hear your opinion/feedback on our products. Also, it’d be swell if you can place our link on your blog.
Thank you,

Wow…Look at that crema.
Hi,
So what is the deal with charging for postcards?I noticed it the other day when I came in. I know times are tough but come on! Its free advertising. Get in the game.
A hip and posh coffee joint. It’s a smooth sensation walking in with a super-friendly and provincial attitude. Don’t be mistaken this isn’t your ordinary coffee hangout. It’s for real people and friendly conversation. Get ready to smile.
To the peeps at Muse. U had me at Murcia!
Peace out!
You need to post a link to Muse Coffee on Twitter!
Hey Brent….have met you a couple of times in the shop and wanted to find out what you may be doing with your discarded coffee grinds. I am not sure if you are just tossing them, but if you are I would be interested in taking them off your hands….maybe on a daily basis.
