One of the things about the coffee industry is that many of us are passionate about coffee and a little bit nuts about getting the perfect shot out of the perfectly roasted bean.
Kent and his company La Marzocco, is one of the most sought after experts in espresso technology in the world and is also considered one of the most genuinely nice guys of all time. Like any industry, ego fuels many of the characters. Kent doesn’t have anything to prove, he has done it all and does it all without the ego. He is widely credited with taking the espresso that was being served in Seattle in the 70’s and working tirelessly to improve technique and ultimately flavor of coffee here in our rainy city.
He visited the store the other day and I just have to say it made my week! He was very complimentary and ws even happier to see one of his machines in our store.
Kent is now getting involved in Chocolate now and it is heavenly.
